This book was illustrated for a 5 year old girl called Maya. The book was written and commissioned by Maya's mother who wrote it for her personally. The illustrations in the book were also personalised further to make it more relatable to Maya and her friends. The characters and the living space were all adapted to Mayas setting and life.
